TWG 2017

Fantastic show with dwarfs, karate show, dancing performance and tug of war session – these are just some of the attractions prepared by children attending 15th Kindergarten located at Prochowicka Street in Wrocław. The flag was brought by the students from Milicz.

We can tell from the previous editions of „The World Games Road Show Flag”, it is a wonderful opportunity for students from different educational institutions to welcome the flag of The World Games and to get to know the history of this interesting event, sport categories and competitors. In less than two years, Wrocław will host the biggest multidisciplinary sport tournament in the history of Poland.

On behalf of the host city, the Mayor Deputy of Wrocław, Wojciech Adamski, welcomed everybody. “Interesting sport disciplines are the essence of the World Games, many of which can be practiced regardless of age. Pre-school children are full of energy and it is vital they have every opportunity to release that energy through sports activities” – the President of WKO TWG Wrocław 2017 Piotr Przygonski said. The youngest contestants have proven to be the most creative ones and they prepared a show, combining sports and ballet elements with the special guests… dwarfs. Children’s performance was enriched by professionals. Spectators could enjoy karate show by Karolina Babicz and Mirella Wieczorek (Polish and European Champions).

Also, the world class duet from Dance Academy in Wroclaw, Justyna Łukasiewicz and Kacper Dziadowicz, electrified the audience with a few moments of rumba. Celebration day was closed by our Olympic contestants from Wroclaw, Renata Mauer-Rozanska and Pawel Randa, who decided to tell some of their sport stories to the children.
