It is very important for Wrocław, as the capital of the region, to have other municipalities involved in the process. We believe that The World Games will be a great festival of sports for the entire Lower Silesia.
There will be at least 150 athletes participating in Świdnica events. The City Rink will undergo some important renovation and reconstruction, including building two locker rooms and a new ventilation system. The venue has a capacity to host 800 viewers.
Beata Moskal-Słaniewska, president of Świdnica: It is an honour to host a part of this great sporting event. We believe it enhance our promotion and will attract some more tourists. We have plenty to offer, including UNESCO-listed World Heritage Site Church of Peace.
